The issue
I have been having one issue ever since I fully discharged / charged my Fenix 5.
I get constant pairing requests with a number come on the watch and then it says failed. This is presumably the watch trying to connect with my phone. The issue is that the attempts to try and reconnect lights up the watch at night and I have to de pair the phgone
Spec
- Garmin fenix 5 20.00 (cfa4270)
- Samsung S10 G970FXXU8DTH7
- Garmin connect 4.35.1
Troubleshooting
- Switched both off and then on
- removed device from Garmin connect and then reconnect
- Removed app and re installed
Workaround
Only connect the watch next to the phone when data is available and then disconnect (not a workable solution).
