Garmin Connect fails to sync and show sleep data (fenix 6x sapphire)

Hi

My fenix 6x sapphire is recording the sleep data and it's visible on watch's widget but unfortunately this data is not being synced with the garmin connect app.

what I tried is :

1.on edit my day, I have removed and re-enabled sleep

2.I tried to view it in menu\health status\sleep but in that area I can only add sleep data manually

3.I cleared the app cache on my phone settings

4.I have uninstalled and re-installed the app

5.I have a successful sync every time because all data such as activities are shown completely

6.the default activity tracker is set to the current device

7.I have read and done the conditions of the garmin support on https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=MUVZpS2wfM6681gaS62ue8&productID=125677&tab=topics

I really appreciate any  information or same experience or instructions on this issue to get my sleep tile back to work.

thanks

  • Hi, i have exact same issues on Fenix 6x Pro Solar, everything fine until 23 November when i decided to log in to Garmin Express for map   Garmin Express then moved to Garmin Connect, i saw my latest activity listed..... but now no data or graphs for Heart Rate, Body Battery, Respiration, Heart Rate.  Data is on watch but, watch doesn't show last few days or weeks or have sane detail,  seems like last watch software update is the issue, i tried everything you did,  including the watch soft restart by pressing and holding top left button for many seconds and screens until watch powered down, then a restart, still no good, you should try that though

    Regards

  • Same problem here, since Nov 23rd my Fenix 6 fails to sync with my Samsung Galaxy 10+. Still have green dot showing in app, they are connected, but app is showing only live data no graphs and such. Tried everything. Remove and add phone to app. Paired up again. No result. Has your problem been fixed?

  • Hello Alex, the issues between my Samsung S8 running the Garmin Connect app and my Fenix 6x pro solar watch are resolved. I now see all data fields for Body Battery, Heart Rate, Stress, Respiration etc are now populated, all graphs functioning etc

    How?

Today 29 November, at around midday i connected my watch to my laptop, opened Garmin Express, selected the watch from devices shown, immediately the Garmin Express program displayed the message 'Checking for Updates' , then another message 'You're up to date' Software version 12.20, so clearly i had the latest software which i already knew from previous days and online forum.

After receiving the 'Your up to date' message and keeping the watch connected to the pc, I removed the listed watch from Garmin Express program, knowing that all data in Garmin Connect mobile app is not affected.

Within the Garmin Express program select

    1. Tools & Content

2.Utilities tab, scroll to the bottom of that dialog window then select Remove Device button

3.select the Home icon at top left of Garmin Express window

4.select 'Add a Device' ... your watch will populate the list

5.select the Sync button, after sync not much appears to have happened until i selected Garmin Connect button and taken to Garmin Connect site, here the whole screen populates with various data, on the left menu window in Garmin Connect i select Health Stats then Body Battery, first thing i notice is new graphics for the Body Battery meter, at first i still thought no change apart from the graphic but realised the new graphic had only the last few minutes of data so it showed only a vertical line, as the day went on, more data, the body battery graph became a graph and charged and drained data was there, same for the other Garmin Connect fields both on phone and web. With Garmin Express still running, i went back to it and selected the Utilities tab again, then selected Settings, takes you to your device settings, i went through all the settings to see if the settings i previously had were still there, most were there with only a few minor changes.

I checked Garmin Pay settings in Garmin Connect mobile app, the card details were removed due to removing the watch from the list in Garmin Express, the re adding, so if you are using Garmin Pay you will need to open Garmin Connect mobile app, open left window menu, scroll down to Garmin Pay and add whatever card you use. Garmin Express, Garmin Connect and the Garmin device are all connected one way or another, but not all at the same time or, all at the same time, depends on what actions your taking

Let me know how you went

    Regards
