Do you really mean connecting a Garmin Edge with and Android watch? Or was it a typo and you meant an Android phone? If you really meant an Android watch, and you own one, then first of all you should try whether you can install Garmin Connect Mobile on it. I suspect that the watch runs a special edition of Android, and that it may not be possible to install GCM on it, but that's just my personal guess. I may be wrong, so you better try it first.
Yes, I meant the watch. Unfortunately, I don't have any watch to check if the GCM will work. I want to leave my smartphone at home and take only the Edge 1030 plus and my watch with GCM installed for a bike ride. I would like to know if anyone is using such a solution and if it will work at all.
