So I have lost my vivofit 4.

I have lost my vivofit four around the house somewhere and I know because it says ready to sync in the settings but is there a way to make the device beep without syncing the device?

I don't think so. Normally, I'd say use the "find my device" feature, but the vivofit 4 doesn't have that. See here: Can Garmin Do Anything About My Lost or Stolen Fitness Device?

I guess you could move around your house and see when you lose BT connectivity and maybe narrow it down to 1 room.
