Not sure whether I understand correctly, but if you speak about synchronizing the time on your Garmin watch, then on most Garmin models, the time does not synchronize with the phone. It synchronizes with GPS. Only at models without GPS, the time is set by the phone app. Hence, to get the right time, go out and start GPS (or acquire directly the time with GPS through the function available on the timer/alert/stopwatch screens).
