12 week 10k beginner training plan

I've started this plan. 

However on Day 2, it states:

Run 5, walk 5, repeat 2 times. Cool down. Stretch

But after my first set, it counted up, saying this was time before pressing 'lap'.

When I pressed 'lap", it went to 'End'.

Did I do half a session, are the instructions written incorrectly, or is the plan programmed wrong?

  • The workout seems to be programmed correctly, at least according to the description. However please note, that the "walk" section is marked as "Rest" in the programmed workout. So perhaps you were confused by your watch saying "Rest for 5 minutes" and expected this to be a rest between the run and walk?

    Another idea is that perhaps you pressed the lap button prematurely somewhere, thus skipping one or more sections of the workout.
