Activity not syncing on vivoactive3

I did a hike yesterday and it is showing on my watch (vivoactive3) but it won't sync up to my phone. I've tried restarting my phone and turning the bluetooth off and on, but it's not helping! Any ideas what else I can do? 

It was working fine the day before, so not sure if this is something to do with Garmin being down yesterday. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks.

  • You could try with Express.

    If that isn't an option, I suggest you connect your VA3 to your PC via USB and have it appear as a drive. Then import it from the Garmin/Activities folder using web Connect from the cloud icon on the top right of the list of activities display.

  • Thanks for the reply! It seemed to sort itself out in the end, thankfully, so I didn't need to connect it to a computer.
