Is there any possible way to access youtube music premium with my vivoactive 3? I think I've tried almost everything. Any tricks out there?

  • This is not upto Garmin, but upto Google. So if you want Youtube Music on your Garmin you have to submit the request to Google.

Yes, you are writing this everywhere. Repetition doesn't make it true though. This is something Garmin could initiate. It's definitely added value for Garmin devices.

  • It's true that at the moment there is no official Youtube Music API. At least I can't find it on the developer site of Google. So how would Garmin be able to access legally the DRM music from Youtube Music to download it to a Garmin device and subsequently play it on the device?

  • I think that is obvious: talk to Google. Garmin is no small player, and with YouTube being an emerging streaming service some mutual interest could be established. I don't believe there are any real technical obstacles.
