Livetrack new version - some painful detail

Hi,

just return from a bike session and saw the new livetrack.

In the new graphic/menu interface the "session name" is no available BEFORE you start the session... or iam doing something wrong?

Then, when the session has started you can enter and "Edit session name" . PAINFUL. When the session starts, id like to be doing my session and not editing the name. Is there a way to set the name before the session?

Any hint?

I set my Livetrack name on my first tryout - now I can't find out where to update it. Spent hours.....

Impossible to me. Only can changed the name session after started it.... unusable...

Also the email alert sends "livetrack session" generic name instead the name you need.

One step backwards!

I also found out this very annoying problem. Garmin has changed lots of things with the LiveTrack. Some very good new things like finally being able to share cadence and pulse in the session and also the course, if there is one loaded in the watch.

My problem is that the session name can't be changed and it is using my last used session name which is very bad. Seems like Garmin has released something half working which is not good at all.

I add that upon blutooth disconnection, live track pauses and stays paused even if bt reconnects.

Odd, it should restart, since randomly my edge 530 disconnects.

Call them, or use the chat. But frankly I do not really understand what you are speaking about. I get no prompts to enter any session name when the LiveTrack auto-starts, and do not see any session name on the emails from LiveTrack either. The email only tells:

'You are invited to watch my live activity “Shared LiveTrack.” Follow my location and workout stats.'

Are you sure you are really speaking about Garmin LiveTrack?

yes.. now is that generic message you said. Editing the session name is available AFTER you start.
