No Internet access

After the latest upgrade of the app, I almost always get a message that says no internet access even though the phone clearly has internet access and other apps are working fine.  Connect mobile does seem to work, although every screen change keeps popping up the message that there is no internet access.  I deleted the app and reinstalled it but the problem continues.  Anyone else having this problem?  How to fix?  My phone is a Moto G4 running Android 7

  • I had the same problem 2 days ago (along with LiveTrack not working). I switched on the phone's WiFi to make it sync and be usable again.

    I'm unsure why the cellular connection didn't work. As you say, other apps worked OK.

    Yesterday, it all worked as normal.

    I've not used it today.

    Similar problem. Garmin Connect on Android phone shows no internet connection. Turned WiFi off, then back on. Then restarted Garmin Connect and problem is gone.

    having a similar problem with Garmin Connect IQ. Says i have not internet connection any time i try to download an app or watch face when I definitely do have a working internet connection (super fast Fibre to the premises). Any ideas?

    I use an Internet connection on Android 7 through VPN, without Wifi, and the Connect IQ app is the only one on my device saying 'no internet connection'. (App downloaded yesterday).


    - connect.garmin.com is reachable and has functional cookies allowed.
    - the Connect IQ app may use mobile data even during bandwidth restriction period
    - the Garmin Connect app works fine (without Wifi, through VPN as above)

    As a result I'd like to customize my Venu Watch's main screen, but I can't… still searching


    Any response from Garmin, please, to the initial question?
