  • The phone app shows only a limited subset of training plans. Consult the web version instead. It has it all.

I only see cycling plans when I go into the training plans in connect app. I have Garmin Fenix 3. I see running on web, but they look different. The one from the app should look better (saw it at friends app). How do I get running training plans on the app

As written, use the web interface, activate a plan there, and it will be then visible in the app too (and the photo may then indeed look differently).

I've got the same issue. I think it's because fenix 3 does not support Garmin coach and training plans on the app are coach supported :(

    support.garmin.com/.../

  • I am using the android app, and just discovered that my active self-guided 10K training plan, picked from the GC web site, does not appear in the app. However my cycling plan does appear.

I completed a Garmin Coach 5K plan which did appear in the app, and still does under "Completed".

The workouts for my self guided plan do appear on the calendar in the app.

For running plans, it seems only the Coach plans will appear in the app. Cycling plans are not classified as Coach or Self-guided, only as Cycling, and they are effectively self guided.
