Sharing a course

I've created a course, it has a start and a finish, when I share it, a straight line appears from the finish to the start, but it is not there on the original course! How can I share without the line?

Did not you select by mistake the option "Round Trip" when creating the course?

Hi, I don't think so, I have checked and when I do select loop to start it does plot a route but using roads, so i have unselected it for sure.

When I export that course as GPX and import it back, I get the following course. Hope it is what you are looking for:
