Bluetooth connection drops between Fenix 6S Sapphire and OnePlus 6

Hi,

My setup:

- Fenix 6S Sapphire (latest firmware on 13/08/2020 : v10.10)

- OnePlus 6 Android phone

Until 2 or 3 weeks ago, I did not have the problem described below.

Since one of the recent Software/Firmware upgrades of the watch, I experience the following:

- after some time (several hours, or overnight) the BT connection seems to drop. Whether I'm wearing the watch or not.

Sometime after a day, sometimes after a few hours, also after recharging and syncing the watch via the PC

- when it has dropped, the only way to restore the connection is to reboot the phone, or the remove the pairing and pair again. But that is no permanent solution, as a day later, it drops again.

I already tried the following to reconnect the BT link between watch and phone:

- on the phone : toggle BT off and back on : does not make a difference, it will not reconnect

- kill the Garmin Connect app and launch it again : does not reconnect

- remove the pairing and pair again : reconnects 1 time until the next drop

- rebooted the phone in recovery mode, and wiped ART/Dalvik cache : reconnects after the reboot, but later, drops the connection again

It is getting a burden to use the watch like this

Anyone similar experiences or have (permanent) a solution?
