Find my phone

I have contacted Garmin twice about the find my phone feature noo longer working.  A rep took me through all sorts of problem solving  ideas. None worked. He sent my issue to the next higher up, promising  they'd contact me.  Nothing...its been weeks. Very disappointed.

    Ok. Do you want help from users in this forum to fix the issue? Then we need to know a lot more of the hardware and what you have tested.

    My first tips for any issues is to just restart the hardware and then check if there are any software updates by connecting it to Garmin Express. That solves surprisingly many issues.

    The phone is involved in this function so check that any battery optimization are turned off for Connect and that you got a good bluetooth connection to the phone.

    The solution that you should try when all other fails is to do a factory reset of the Garmin device. It will erase all settings that are stored on the device so you will have to do that all over again.

    First of all make sure the Bluetooth connection is properly set up and not timing out or dropping after a while.     I had this problem when I got a new samsung handset. After going into notifications and making sure all app permissions were allowed, I retried with no success.

    I opened garmin connect on the handset, went to Garmin devices, find my device.

    The phone and watch were definitely connected as the watch stated chirping.

    I then retried from the phone and it all worked again.
