August challenge 10k run

On August 2020, from Friday 7 to Sunday 9, I completed the required 10 km running and I was not credited for the points offered upon completion of the challenge.

I synchronized the activity as soon as finished, as you can check from my page

    Yes, this is what I need to see - a page of Garmin Connect Web, here I see whether you are still joined to the 10k Challenge or not. The screen from GC Mobile with black background is useless for that purpose.

    OK so to individual cases:

    • @2376684 - I cannot tell since I do not see whether the August 10k Challenge is still active
    • @Fredrik_Coulter - can't tell since I do not see the activity
    • @8866401 - can't tell since the activity is private and cannot be viewed by "Everyone"
    • @delta-blues - evrything looks OK. Try editing a minor change (adding a Calorie) and  savng the Activity. Wait then a day or two, and if stil not awarded,the badge, contact the Support.

    Also please note that the badges are sometimes not sorted correctly, and the last awarded badges are not shown at the top. Make sure you have checked all your badges, and that the badge is not listed somewhere in the middle, or at the bottom of the list.

    All activities posted looks ok so I believe that they should be awarded with the badge. I got two theories.

    1. It is delayed. 

    2. A bug. Most activities got gear added. Maybe that could affect in some odd way? I would test to remove the gear and then wait and see what happens.

    Yes, the activities posted here look all right. At those who posted the screenshot of the Challenge clearly showing the link "Leave Challenge" it is also evident they are still joined to the Challenge. As I advised already to @delta-blues, try editing and saving the Activity again (even if you already did it previously) and wait a day or two. My August 10k Challenge badge was awarded instantly, but at the Cycling 40K Challenge badge it took also two edits and two days before the badge popped up, so there may be indeed a lag in processing all those challenges and badges.

    As for the gear, that should not be a problem. I have gear assigned to the run too, and had no problems receiving the badge.

    These screensbots show that I joined the challenge.  I have  edited the  run twice. It's been several days.  Still not  working.

    Looks ok. Contact the Support, the community cannot help in this case.
