In my app, by accident, I swiped away steps from the display before I could hit undo it disappeared. How do I bring it back?

How do I bring back display items that I accidentally swiped away?

  • Use the big button Edit My Day at the bottom of the screen

  • Thank you for answering, there is "my day" at the bottom of the screen but not "edit my day".  The steps from yesterday appear and if I tap on it it will show me yesterday's steps but not today's steps.  I don't use a smartphone so the application is on my kindle.  Any other suggestions?

You have to scroll down to the bottom of the My Day screen - the Edit My Day button is there:

  • Thank you, the problem resolved in 48 hours, and I managed to find the area where to add and move items displayed but it did not seem to do anything.  I wonder if Garmin is still having problems from being hacked.

I have another question.  Do you know why my app would read my body battery is at 17% but my watch reads 100%? Well, it was done to 98% when I took the picture of my watch.

No, the Edit My Day button was aways there, and the hacking had no impact on it. If you did not see any steps despite having the Steps panel enabled, then it means no steps were recorded ro synced for given day.

    Basically there are three possibilities:

    1. The synchronisation does not work (the white circle around the watch symbol never closes) - in that case follow the tips in the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide

    2. When the synchronisation works (the white sync circle closes and turns green), but not all the data is appearing in your account, then it very probably means that your device is associated with multiple accounts, and a part of the data lands in the other account. It frequently happens for example when you reinstall the application, and inadvertently sign up a new account instead of signing into the original one. Follow the instructions from the support document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing to resolve the issue.

    3. The storage (or the FIT file storing the HR data and the steps data) is dammaged or full. Try deleting old activities from the folder //GARMIN/Activity, to see whether it helps.

  • THANK YOU! I accidentally deleted my heart rate rate "card" from the top of my display by swiping right. I was so worried, and going to "Edit My Day" let me get it back in a split second. <3 I appreciate your taking the time to help people. :)
