Heart Rate Battery

My Venu keeps saying heart rate monitor battery is low. My watch battery is charged to 98% right now. Is there a separate battery for heart rate?

    Only if you use an external HR monitor (i.e. a chest belt HRM). Are you sure the warning speaks about HRM battery, and does not rather mention the Body Battery? Can you post the exact wording of the warning, or its photo?

    Interesting. I do have a chest strap HRM. I didnt think that it would show up on my watch too. The message just says "heart rate monitor battery is very low". Just randomly shows up on my watch screen.

    Probably because the signal from the HRM is weak. Check ou the battery in your chest belt.

    I got same 'HR monitor battery is low' message - will replace, but any idea how long I've got til dead??
