Vivoactive 3 music - vibration problem

Hi all! I own a Garmin vivoactive 3 music. For 2 or 3 weeks my watch does not vibrate anymore for notifications, activities even for the alarm. The vibration is actived though and I know it is not an hardware problem because it vibrates when I turn it on. Furthermore I downloaded the update, I turned off and turn on my watch, I synchronized it from my computer, I uninstalled and reinstall Garmin connect I have no further ideas. If someone could help me on that I'd be more than grateful. Thanks a lot

  • Check out whether you did not enable the Do Not Disturb mode, or that you are not within the Sleep Hours range - under those conditions no audible or vibrating alarms will be made.

    Hey Trux ! Thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately, I already checked that as well and those modes are not activated. I wonder if this problem arises because of my phone. I changed my phone, the vibrations worked well at the beginning but now it does not. I was using previously an Apple device and now it's an android (honor 9). Does anyone know whether it could come from that ? Is there anything I have to do on my phone in order to make the vibrations work again ?

    I tried to contact the support service, I spent 40 minutes holding on and at the end no one answer and it hung up so if I could find a solution here it'll be great :).

  • Not sure whether I understand the problem - are you getting the notifications in silent mode now, or not at all? You only mention the vibrations, but if there are no notifications, there won't be any vibrations either. So I am not sure whether you ask for the right problem. If you do not get any notifications, then have a look at some tips in the thread Notifications

    Trux, I do receive notifications, I can see them on the screen, but when I receive them, there's no more vibration like before. 

    Sorry if not clear, I am not a native English speaker, it could explain the misunderstanding. 

  • No problem, I just wanted to be sure that we are trying to fix the problem and not the consequence. I am not familiar with your device, but I would try shutting it off, then restarting, syncing, and then I'd check again the parameters "Alert Tones" and "Alert Vibrations" in its system settings (directly on the watch). And I would make sure they match with the settings in Garmin Connect Mobile too - you can acess them after tapping the watch symbol on the top, then tapping Sounds & Alerts » Phone Notifications » During Ativity » Alert » Vibrations and the same also for Not During Ativity » Alert » Vibrations
