Day stats not showing on Garmin device

I bought a Forerunner 45 yesterday and my day stats were showing on my device yesterday but when I try to check it today it says “ Save an activity to view data” kindly assist as I would like to keep tabs on my device without going onto the app

Did you already save an activity today? Not sure what exactly you are looking for, but apparently the widget you are trying to use, is for Activity data only, so you need a completed and saved Activity (Run, Walk, Cycling,...) to see the data.

If you want to see other kind of data, like the steps, Calories, heart-rate, ... you may need to have a look at other screens, or add respective widgets. Personally, I am not familiar with FR45, so cannot advise you how to do it - you'd be certainly better advised on the forum of FR45 than here on the app forum.
