I used to beable to download gpx files and upload them to the Garmin app before syncing them to my watch as a Course. Seem unable to do this anymore. I cannot even find the upload button thats used.

If you do it with the phone app, go to Training » Courses, select and open the respective course. The option to upload it to the device is in the menu under the triple-dot symbol in the top right corner.

As for loading the GPX file to the app - either open the file in a file manager with the app (you may need to tune the default app for the GPX extension in the phone OS settings), or do it in Garmin Connect Web » Training » Courses - see the link Import at the bottom of the white box.

I have been trying to use walkhighlands gpx files, and they dont open automatically, so I've just tried a different source of gpx file and it worked first time. Is it possible they have an issue with their files?

    Thanks
