When I finish my activity and check the calorie burn in the activity (it was 107) it is different to the active calories lost (it is on 41). It is the forerunner 35. Is there a reason for this?

Yes, there is. Read the explanation in the thread "Active Calories" and calories burned from activities don't add up.
