Yes. It should have more points. Speedy Century is one of the harder badges to take and that is why I did it on the trainer so I could control the environment.

Yes true, but should it really be necesarry to wear the fenix when i exercise with the Edge ? It give intensy minutes ,yes, but also steps when biking.

Since Edge does not record any Intensity Minutes, then yes, for having them counted it is necessary to wear a device that can record them.

I just checked some of my rides - I get around 100 steps per hour, while at running I get more than 10K steps for the same time, so personally I see no reason why I should bother about the negligible amount added by the biking. And it would not disturb me even if the watch counted the pedalling directly as steps - finally stepping into pedals is not much different from normal steps, so it would make sense, in fact.

Not all people got a HRM chest strap. You can use the wrist watch to broadcast the pulse to the Edge. My HRM-Run is currently broken and before I get my new HRM I broadcast the pulse to the Edge.

did you get all of the badges on 1 ride?

Yes. All badges that are not related can be taken with the same activity.

There was an error with the bike indoor distance badges earlier that made it possible to get them all in one ride, but has Garmin fixed that now. 

I did an indoor ride and got the 100 mile badge but not the 4 hour indoor badge. I expected I would have as they are different aspects. Do you know at all? Many thanks.

I got them both for the same trainer ride so it should work. Is the activity type Indoor cycling?
