Badge not awarded for Virtual Climb

Hi,

I did a walk in order to acquire the first level Virtual Climb Badge 334. However, Garmin Connect didn't register/allow me that badge? Curious as to why because I climbed 390' in elevation which is over the 334' required?

What should I have done differently for this to register? Or, what can I do differently next time for it to register?

You went over 1500 feet. To get 1000 feet badge you need to ascend more than 1000 feet but less than 1500 feet.

Your activity is private so we can't see it.

Did you use the correct activity type? It must be "Floor climb".

Thanks for the help. I recorded it as a walk. I'll try "floor climb" next try.

Does it have to be public also?

It is only need to be public if you would like to us to have a look at it. Not needed for getting the badge.

@e7andy can you advise me please

1000ft floor climb badge.

I have achieved 1500ft floor climb badge at 160 floors on 29 January, today I went hiking and did hike as floor climb activity and reached 162 floors 494m ascent and did not get awarded the 1000ft climb badge, why when I have clearly done much more than enough ascent/climb?
