How to pair the garmin edge 705 with my iphone to transfer and receive data

Is there any software update for garmin edge 705 to allow the 705 to pair with my iphone

This is a discontinued device without any Bluetooth connectivity, and as far as I can see, you can only sync it over the USB able with Garmin Express on a computer.

Well I wasn’t aware that this device was discontinued and purchase it on eBay

Whether it is discontinued or not is actually not important. The problem is that it has no hardware to connect to a smartphone. You can only download the data over the USB cable. It is certainly always better having a look at the Tech Specs of a device before buying it.
