Why Vivoactive 4S is blinking red light at the back of the watch? Is it normal?

  • Yes, it is. It is the PulseOx sensor

Hi, thanks a lot :) Thought something is wrong as it is the very beggining of living with the device Smiley

  • I've disabled both the "All-Day Pulse Ox" and the "Pulse Ox Sleep Tracking" and put it on as tight as it will go on my wrist, but the red light still flashes underneath. What is causing that, and how do I turn it off?

  • Try turning off the HRM, though normally it uses green LED, not a red one. Could be the watch occasionally detects the breathing patterns or oxygen levels even when sleep and all-night tracking are disabled. Not sure whether it is possible to turn it off competely on Vivoactive. You best post on the Vivoactive forum. There will be more people familiar with the settings of your watch. Or contact the Support and ask them.
