Can I record vertical climber activity on Garmin235 watch
Can I record vertical climber activity on Garmin235 watch
Why not? If your device has a climb profile, use it directly. If it does not, create a custom Activity Profile, or use a generic one, and assign the Floor Climbing Activity type, later in Garmin Connect, to the concerned activity. Check out your user manual on the following pages, if you do not know what Activity Profles are, or how to create a customized profile:
Thank you for the reply. But when I use Other activity & assign as floor climbing after connecting with app. How will it take elevation of floor climb
Since the Forerunner 235 has no barometric altimeter, you may need doing it outdoors, using the GPS to log the elevation. If the floors do not get counted automatically, you can usually edit the value manually, and/or setting the total Ascent to the Elevation Gain. The number of floors should be correctly set to the Elevation Gain in meters devided 3
You have to count the floors yourself, and then after upload to garmin connect edit the activity to set the floor count.
Thank you . I did 100 floors climb up & down . 10 ft each floor & edited in activity .
