Is their any way to add mileage to gear?

I want to add mileage to my gear but can't seem to find a way to edit that. I don't wear my gear everyday so I don't have it set for all day walking. Please help!

Assign the gear to the activities you used it for

That's the thing. I'm being recruited to a different part of my company 2 days a week where I'm wearing those shoes. So I'm just wanting to take what steps I had those days and add it to my current mileage. I'm not actually doing a particular activity.

Who cares, you can still record it as a walking activity, anyway. Or, if you prefere setting the mileage manually, add a manual activity, call it Work with Shoes (or whatever you like), set the mileage, and add the gear to it.
