Smart notifications Vivoactive 4+Xiaomi

Hi all, I use garmin since 5 years (Vivoactive HR and now Vivoactive 4) and I always used Garmin Connect Mobile on a lot of android smartphones of different brands.

Now, since the 2 last updates of garmin connect app I cannot receive notification on my Vivoactive 4 (firmware 4.70) from my Xiaomi Mi9se with android 10 and MIUI 11.

I tried all the suggested steps in the 'Notifications' post here in the forum but without any success.

I also tried to uninstall/install the app, remove and reconnect the watch, delete app data, etc...I found a procedure that works, but it's a temporary fix.

Every time I reboot the phone I have to go to the section 'Notification access' on the smartphone and toggle OFF 'Smart notifications' and then reswitch to 'ON'.

It's very annoying to make this operation every morning, but ehi, like in The Mandalorian...this is the way...do you have any solution for this case? I'm pretty sure that it's related to an update of the garmin connect app, not the last...2 updates ago. From that update the notifications stopped working correctly and the phone has not been updated.

I wrote to the developers on the google play section but without any answer...if somebody has the same problem and fixed, please tell me how he made to make this work!
