Weekend Wanderer

I have done a 5km walk yesterday but did 
not get the badge for the Wochenend Wanderer
Challenge from 5.-7. June.
What went wrong?

    Possible reasons:

    1. You did not join the Weekend Walking Challenge (on the Challenges page)
    2. Your walk was not recorded as the Walk activity, but rather as Hiking instead

    In the first case - join the Challenge now, open the activity, change and save the title, or select Edit, make a minor change and save it.

    In the second case, simply change the activty type to Walk.

    Bei mir funktioniert es auch nicht. Habe die Auszeichnung nicht erhalten.

    I did join the Challenge and I did record it as Walking.

    Anyhow I did sone minor change to the activity and saved it. Now I have the badge. Sonehow strange but the problem is solved.

    Same here! Just finished 6,4km-walk but didn't get the badge :-/

    Same here. I did a 5.3k walk 05.06 and I didn't receive the badge either.

    Just recorded over 3miles aswell said it had saved on my tracker but it hasnt linked to the app. Have registered on the challenge page.  Have entered it as a manual activity but it's not registering I've completed the challenge.  Not happy as we also completed the new course we set too so it's not registered that badge either.  

    My steps are also showing 0.8miles on the overview page where my total so far is 4.5miles.  Something not quite right with my sync and app today

    Manually entered activities do not apply for any badges. You have to fix your syncing first, or sync over USB to a computer with Garmin Express: Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide

    I walked 6km on Saturday and the badge has not been applied to my swag either. I actually went out of my way to make sure id walked the extra distance. Yes, I'm dissappointed too Disappointed

    Did you see the first (accepted - light green) answer, and followed the instructions?
