Hi, Other than my runs, which record fine, I have no history available for steps, heart rate, intensity minutes etc. Currently doing a step challenge and have to remember to write my steps down last thing each day.... would like my Garmin watch to record them for me Slight frown

I'm having the same problem. I've only had my Garmin a little over a week. The first 5 days tracked fine, I charged it June 3 and havent had sleep, HR, steps etc history since.

  • I had the same problem. I had to enable 'Use Fenix as main aktivity tracker'.

This ist NEW. Have never seen this cross bevor. However. Steps, stairs are now available. Sleep I Think next

And there is connection and the green sign is on.

  • I am Apple phone and facing the same problem. the Garmin Connect not showing any history of steps at all. please let us know how to fix???

  • Do you see your other historic data, connections, badges, challenges etc.?

Unfortunately no, I don't see any other historical data as well like heart rate history, intensity minutes history, etc etc.

  • Then it is likely that you've created new account.

Find your original account and login to that.

I would check my old emails to find the email address Garmin is sending mails to and then use the web to check that it is the correct account: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/

You are right i have two garmin accounts

what should I do with old account that can help resolve this challenge?

  • Decide what you want to do. If you use the new account all your history is lost (or at least not accessible from that account). If you go back to the other account then you got your data. For me it is an easy choice but I guess you created the new account for a reason...or was it a mistake?

  • As Andy wrote, you have to decide first which of the accounts you want to use. If it is the old one, change the account in Garmin Express, then remove the device in Garmin Connect Web, sign out from the new account, sign in in the old one, and then do the same with Garmin Connect Mobile.

Do not skip the step of removing the device both from the new accounts in GC Web and in GC Mobile !!! That's a crucial step and if you forget doing it, you will experience a bunch of problems when syncing the data.

To be clear i will do following steps

    1. identify the account i want to discontinue

    2. Connect GC web and disconnect the device (my watch)

    3. then connect GC mobile and disconnect device (my watch)

    4. Connect to GC web and GC mobile with the account i want to continue and will find all the data history

Please let me know if this is okay?
