Lost all training data in Garmin connect

so long winded but here goes. I have the app on my phone, all good and it syncs etc as it should. I signed out the other day and when I signed back in I unwittingly signed back in to an already existing old account.

- it took me through added a device which I though was odd but as I was tired thought it was updated or something like that. Added my vivo 3 which had been on the newer account

- I noticed that all my data from the calendar etc was missing from when I first reg'd the device with the app.

- eventually figured out that I must have 2 accounts and so signed back in to the newer account again - the data wouldn't then upload to my calendar from my watch although I could see it on the app

- read a previous thread about removing the device from the wrong account so signed back in to the old account and removed the device from the old account

- all good and my calendar data came back, until today when I noticed the newer info was showing on the app but nothing new in my calendar.

- I've then removed my device and re-added (to the newer/correct account) and now all the calendar info has disappeared again and only shows the most recent day and a bit. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but nothing. Is there any way to get the old calendar data/activities/steps etc back.

- my watch even shows activities in it's history that aren't on the app, can't make sense of it
