Does the Garmin connect app on Android require internet connection to send a file to a forerunner watch? I needed to replan a route on the road but Garmin connect was just loading forever the routes. Probably patchy signal. I had the appropriate GPX files on my phone and tried to send them as I often do to the watch (locate in the folder, tap and open with Garmin connect). However the connect app would not send the file, it was still stuck to loading.
Is this behaviour normal or is there an alternative method to send a course gpx file without internet connection available?
