How to disable heart rate recovery notification

Former Member

Hi! I'd  like to know, please, how I can disable heary rate recovery notification during activity on my Fenix 6 watch?

Namely, I have a continuous annoying problem while I'm biking for work (food delivery) and recording my riding, this heart rate recovery message pops up and it's on - eith that it stops my recording and unless I hit 'ok' button my riding is kot recording. To me this is stupid! So many times O was left with large chunks of riding not being recorded because of this.

I understand if this pops up when I finish my ride and press pause or stop manually, but it certainly should not do this hy itself and then not automatically continue (from auto-pause) if I kewp on riding. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

I'm otherwise super happy with the watch, but I need to sort this issue, please. Any suggestions?

  • You probably should have posted thins in the Fenix watch sub-forum. You're bound to get more responses there.

I've never had or heard of your issue before. The whole idea is to measure recovery 2 minutes after the activity has ended. What I have seen though are complaints about how the touch screen occasionally is activated by clothing rubbing on it.

What I can suggest is to lock the display so random movements don't create havoc. I also suggest you browse the Fenix foirum. You may find better answers there.

  • No man, that's is problem in all Garmin devices, so it would be useful for all of us.
