Garmin Connect crashes Android phone.

The Garmin Connect app on my Moto G5 seems to stop any other app working after it's closed and I have to restart the phone. Is this normal behaviour for the GC app?

Well, I watch this forum since many months on a daily basis, and do not remember any similar case reported here, hence I dare to tell, no, it is not normal behaviour of the GC app.
