Steps not showing in Connect for walk activity

I bought a vívoactive 4 some month ago and are using the built-in walk activity app to record my activities, earlier i had a FR235 and used the Dozen walk app to record my walking activities. Earlier i could see steps recorded and synced to Connect but i cannot find it now after i changed equipment.

If i check history and activity on the vívoactive 4 i can see the steps recorded and i cannot believe this is not synced to the activity screen in Connect, this is for both the web version and the Android version of Connect. Have i missed some setting somewhere, i cannot find anything to change so it show the step count i had for the activity.

This is from an activity with the FR235. (I hope it show as the preview is very small.)

and this is from the vívoactive 4

  • If you want to see the Connect IQ steps field with your Vivoactive 4, you need to install the same (or equivalent) Connect IQ app also on the new device. The step counts are not a standard field of activities, you need a Connect IQ app to add it there.

  • Ok, thank you, i was hoping this was not the case. Seems like the vívoactive 4 is not complete out of the box. I think the number of steps for a walking activity is more important than the SPM. I will keep it as it is but will always feel a bit dissapointed about it.

It looks to be the same case with your previous device too - you wrote yourself that you used the Dozen app to add the step count. So why not loading it on your Vivoactive 4? It is compatible with Vivoactive 4, too.
