Miles logged as km in app

My watch is set to miles and it's set to miles on my app, did my run it was miles all the way through but logged as km in the app, when I try and edit the log on the app to miles it won't change it?

Global settings such as metric or statute distances are best done on Garmin Connect Web under display preferences, measurement units.

Make sure global settings are maintained there and then they should populate to Garmin Connect Mobile and your device.
