how will I know if it had been received ?

You won't. Well, the email protocol (it is called SMTP) does support receipt notifications, but since many years this feature was rendered useless due to the abuse by spammers, and hence it is mostly blocked by default, in most email clients. So the only reliable way to find out whether the counterpart really received the email you have sent, is asking them through another channel (personally, phone, different email address, messenger, chat, forum, etc...)

Thank you very much .Can I ask a rather different question ,If I share an activity by e mail ,will that show as a sent e mail on my e mail account?

Thanks ,so I can't seem to share by e mail ,despite changing all privacy settings to " everyone " .I press "send " and nothing happens .Any tips ?

You won't see anything happen after you hit send. Just tested this and it's working for me.

• Open your activity in Garmin Connect, then tap the send icon
• Choose either Photo With Stats, or Web Link
• Choose the share option. In this case Email
• Enter the email address of the recipient in the To text box.
• Tap the send icon
• Check your email client. You should see it in your sent folder.
