Find My Phone not working since changing to a Samsung S9

Would appreciate help, I have changed phone from a Samsung S7 to a S9 and the Find My Phone feature does not work.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 35 that I love but cannot get this feature to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

On your S9 long press the Connect icon and select App info. Change Appear on top to Allow permission

Thank you for your help, it is already set as that & still doesn't work. Anything else you think would make it work?
