My Garmin app icon has a notificaton showing but I am unable to find it in app? Anyone where I can find it?

Android shows the details of the unread notifications, when you swipe down the top status bar, so it should be written there. It could be many things: new badges awarded, comments of Connections, new challenges, or challenge results, insights, scheduled workouts or events, and who knows what more. The best way is to look for the new notification directly by swiping down the top edge of the screen, and then clearing the notifications to make place for new ones.

Thanks for that but unfortunately I cannot locate any notification when I swipe down anywhere.  I have attached a pic of the notification and screenshot of "My Day" screen.  I have gone through each individual heading in the status bar to the top left and each of the individaul pages on the bottom row.  There are a few news feeds from a friends activities that I can not delete but other than that there don't appear to be any notification icons or possibilities.  Any thoughts?

Not really. It happened to me already with the Garmin Explore app, but never with Garmin Connect Try forcing the app to stop and then restart. Clearing the app cache can perhaps clear the notification flag too. And there may be a function for doing it globally in Android, but I forgot where I saw it. You will probably manage to google it out.

Long press the Connect app icon >> App Info >> Notifications >> toggle off App icon badges.

Thanks... at least that got rid of the Icon! Nothing else has worked?? 

Ha still no go but have now cancelled the app icon on settings.  Cheers and thanks for trying to help!
