Why is there no automatic sleep transmission or an display of sleep stages any more?

I have to confirm my sleep manually every day now and there are no sleep stages any more

  • Does the device record your heart rate? Could you post a screenshot of the HR graph for the same day (and night)?

No, I have not activated it. Never had. But it did record the sleep anyway.

OK, I see, in that case it is a clear bug. I suggest contacting Garmin Support, and reporting it to them.

    Thanks, will do so

  • Sorry, I mixed up a similar thread with yours.

In fact, you were originally asking "Why is there no automatic sleep transmission or an display of sleep stages any more?", and then you answered that you never activated the heart rate monitor. In that case telling you that it was a bug, was wrong. The correct answer ought to be:

The automatic sleep transmission and sleep stages are not shown because you did not activate your heart rate monitor. Without HR data, there is no sleep data either. If you want sleep data, you have to activate the HR monitor.
