You can remove a device in Garmin Connect Mobile app, after taping the device icon, in the menu accessible through the triple dot symbol up rght, and selecting the option "remove device".
However, if you recorded some activities with it, much better than removing it, is "retiring" it in Garmin Connect Web. You can do it in Device Settings (after clicking the device symbol at the top)
