Garmin App not installing

  1. Have reset my Huawei P8 lite, which have done several times and reinstalled the Garmin Connect app every time with no issues.
However this time Google Play states device is not compatible.
Have reset cache and data from Google Play app in settings and turned off phone and back on and still states the same.
All phones after 2014 are meant to be compatible to install and any phone Android 5.0 or above which the phone is.
    Please assist with thanks. look
  • You could try installing an older version from an APK archive. Or perhaps even the recent version would install directly from an APK too. You can find plety of APK archives on the web - I used couple of times the archive at apkssl.com, but there are others as well.

  • Never used APK, was a bit dubious at first as was given the schpiel about untrusted source...but thought what have I got to lose eh and it's installed no issues at all. Just don't understand why Google Play wouldn't, has with all other apps I have just reinstalled....with the exception of the authentic 1 Billion + downloads of FB messenger. Bit off topic I know but would this APK site have that too? Thank you for all your help on this and rapid solution Trix.

    With thanks,

    Matt

  • Just don't understand why Google Play wouldn't

Not sure, but perhpas the US ban on Huawei may play a role. AFAIK the last models of Huawei do not come with Google services anymore, for that reason

would this APK site have that too

    There is a search function
