Live track doesn`t work, again

Live track worked fine until recently. Yesterday I went on a big ride and live track failed. The notifications were sent, but the web page just said "No signal. Trying to reconnect.".

Just now my wife went on a ride and the same thing repeated.

We both use Garmin Edge 1000 and android mobile phones.

I guess that there was an update which messed it up. It wouldn`t be the first time.

Are there more users with the same problem and does someone know the solution?

go to APKmirror.com....find GarminConnect...download the file from 4/2 into a folder on your PC/Mac....downloand and install APK mirror installer app on your phone....unistall Garmin Connect (4.3) from your phone.....plug phone into PC/MAC with USB cable....copy APK packet download from PC/MAC to a folder on phone...unplug usb cable....launch APK mirror Installer app on phone....browse to file location on phone where the APK packet was saved....highlight....click install.....confirm installation.....make sure to turn off automatic update on the Garmin Connect App.....re-open app and verify connected to Garmin Device.....re-establish your live-track settings....enjoy.

Thank you, I have installed 4.29, where will I find the option to turn off auto updates. (I think I may have done this t cannot remember where)

Go to play store then settings, it's in there.

On my android phone, it is in Play Store > My Apps & Games > Installed > select Garmin Connect > tap menu at upper right corner > deselect Enable auto-update

Thanks for the walk thru on getting back to 4.29.

The only thing I would add is that you may have to delete the bluetooth connection from your phone to your garmin before reinstalling the older version. Once I got that sorted out, I seem to have livetrack back.
