Distance settings run VS cycle

When I run my route shows 1 mile markers which is great.

When I cycle the route shows 5 mile intervals.

How to I change this to also show 1 mile markers?

In the settings of the cycling activity on the watch, adjust the Auto-Lap Distance parameter.
