What does it mean exactly? Are you really speaking about Live Track only, or about the Edge not being able to get the GPS position? If the Edge does not lock on the GPS satellites, then the most likely reason is that the ephemeris data file expired or is damaged. Connect the device with USB cable to the computer, and check for updates with Garmin Express. You need doing it regularly - GPS cannot work reliably and quickly without fresh ephemeris data. Once I stop my ride and save, it says that LIvetrack has ended, but I still end up having to turn it off on my phone as it is still alive.
Garmin can't keep wrecking safety features.... just saying
I use Live Track daily, and it works without issues. Could you post a link to one of your Live Tracks and also the link to the same Activity in Garmin Connect? Turn the visibility to Everyone, for the concerned activity, please. It can be even a few days old Live Track.
That's exactly the same as my problem. Everything is connected, garmin tracks my route as it should. All permissions are on.

it all worked ok 7 days ago, no phone updates or any setting changed.
phone has good signal, data, mapping software on phone locates immediately, I initially get the map from the email link with a yellow box saying
"page will update automatically when location data is available" or "no signal".
Please change permission level to "Everyone" for this activity.
Well, the activity's privacy is locked, so I cannot view it, but if you tell the track on the map is all right, then it is not really necessary. Was the BT link between the watch and the phone all right during the activity? I mean you can see whether the watch is connected to the app, if it continuously updates the HR, and steps values. If it stops, it means, there is no connection, and hence also the LiveTrack cannot work.

its not a watch, its an edge 520 bike computer, it has the phone symbol on all time, when starting activity, i immediately get a notification to say live track has started on both device and phone, i get messages on device while riding, the email sends and the link takes me to activity, just nothing there, when i end activity, the live track needs to be manually end on connect app on phone, otherwise the icon stays on screen endlessly. Next ride I'll leave extended track on.
