The Map feature is not showing my entire run - also cuts out time, distance, etc.

Hello all, when I view my run in the Connect App (Android), the map does not show my entire run, only the first portion. The activity clock was still running, so that didn't stop, but it didn't capture the entire distance. Thoughts?

One other person had this problem, but that post was 6 years ago. 

Edit: I found out that the total distance etc. did not get captured as well. Since the activity timer was still running, I thought it captured all the data, but it did not. 

  • Didn't you stop the activity inadvertently before it really ended? Was it not low on battery power? Do you have sufficient storage room on the watch? You could connect to the watch with the USB cable, and delete activities from the folder //GARMIN/Activity, if there is not enough room

    Sorry about the delayed response - apparently my earlier reply didn't work. 

    I didn't stop the activity accidentally, it wasn't low on power, and it's a new watch (few activities, and later non-running activities worked). 

    I did however delete the activity folder, so we'll see how future runs work. I'll reply back once I have that new data.
