i forgot my password, asked for it to be reset. signed out, signed back in and all my data is gone from both my mobile app and website. no idea how to fix it!

If you had data before and do not now, it's likely that you are now using a different user name. This can happen if you've not used Garmin Connect for a while. If you've used Garmin Express in the past and still have it on your computer, you can check that the account associated with your device matches the account you're using now.
In Garmin Express select your device, click "Tools & Content." then see what it says for "Registered to:" Typically an email address.
