Training status missing from my day/ not updating

Recently training status has disappeared from my day and has stopped updating in the app. Is anyone else having this issue?

I’ll resurrect this one too for a multi-pronged approach.

My Training Status no longer shows on My Day either. I can find it through My Performance but not on My Day

I have:

fenix 5 updated
iPhone 12 (latest iOS update - 14.6)
latest Garmin connect version (4.44)
I have restarted phone and watch.
Removed Training Status and added it back on my day.
oh ya, and i have done at least 5 activities since it disappeared with no change

any help please would be much appreciated.
