Incorrect character encoding

Hey, sorry. It affects the mobile app as well, I was not able to send a screenshot about the mobile app. Let me try it again.

I created an activity with the same name Csór Kerékpározás, and it displays all right, both on GC Mobile, as on GC Web. So the problem with the encoding may be already on the side of the two concerned users - Csaba and Róbert. Make them verify whether they have the names right on their side.

Today I noticed same problem with wrong characters. It is not issue when you create new activity but when new activity is synchronized from device. In my case name (created automatically) contains wrong Ãj instead of á.

OK, I see. In that case please report it to Garmin, they may not be aware of it.

Same thing happened with norwegian encoding as well. Letters 'å' and 'ø' are correct, whereas on the 23rd encoding has gone bonkers!

same issue with czech characters. on the web as well as in the mobile app. i guess it's a global issue.

Same issue in Finland: 'Espoo Kävely' shoud be 'Espoo kävely'
