how to turn off audio notifications

Sorry guys perhaps not right topic, but i have question and answers i cant find around forum, maybe someone can help me. 1. how to turn off audio notifications on android phone Garmin connect where when you doing activities without Bluetooth headphones - phone after lap/km start talking in your pocket? ( i tried all around and or I'm blind or i missing somewhere something in settings its annoying and putts me in awkward situation when I'm in public like in when quick in shop, passing people etc etc ) 2. where would be that option where you could enable TOTAL distance running or walking notification on headphones after every km.... like after 1 km saying 7 km total done and continue counts every km, but not like its now configured 1 lap done and after another km says 1 lap done? (would be great if its says total laps or total distance in headphones during activities to not look on your wrist, otherwise sometimes i forget how far i run...)

In Garmin Connect Mobile, tap the device icon at the top, tap Activity Options, and disable Audio Prompts there

I disable lap alert and on device alerts and looks like my phone stopped audio notifications. Not sure about Bluetooth headphones during activities, i didn't tested.

I am having the same problem as well - looks like a fault in Garmin connect as who would want laps when golfing and there is no option to turn it off apart from silencing your phone. Has anyone raised with support?

Seems like there are separate options on the watch itself which controls some of the audio prompts regardless of the configuration in the Garmin Connect Mobile app.

I managed to turn off the lap alerts by doing the following:

- Hold 'Up' on the main watch face to get into the list of options

- Scroll down to 'Audio Prompts'

- Set 'Lap Alert' to 'Off'

This does not seem to disable the lap alert screen, but it silences the audio for this particular alert.

I think I turned off all the audio notifications, but still when I'm doing a workout (structured running, for example) with my earbuds connect with the watch it talks each steps from the workout. Is it possible just to vibrate, instead off saying each step in the earbuds?
